This is initially a two-year apprenticeship position where the employee receives on the job training and a number of RYA, HSE, BSAC and MCA Certificates. At the end of the two-year apprenticeship, the apprentice may be offered a permanent position.
The apprentice employee will deliver powerboat training and experiences and help maintain and prepare the company's powerboats for use.
The company offers a range of Royal Yachting Association (RYA) training courses and yacht racing events to both the public and the commercial sector. The target markets are sailors and power boaters of all sized craft. The company operates mainly in Southampton with some interests in the Mediterranean and Caribbean. There are fifteen full time staff and a number of freelancers which make up a small, fun and successful team, based in Shamrock Quay, with a view of the river.
