JOB DESCRIPTION

Southern Ropes are a leading rope manufacturer based in Cape Town, South Africa with world wide outlets.  Due to demand we are expanding our Braiding department and have a vacancy for a Production Manager to join our South African Factory in Cape Town.  We are looking for someone who has the following experience; A good track record in managing a team, with good experience in a factory production environment.
Experience in Rope making in general but with a good knowledge of braiding.
A good knowledge of ropes and an ability to produce construction specifications for braids, double Braids, yacht braids, and production planning.  Knowledge of Herzog, Ratera, Twistech or Galan machines essential.

SALARY

£35,000 - £45,000
