JOB DESCRIPTION

An Internationally recognised manufacturer of steel boats in the West Midlands is looking to recruit a Naval Architect who has got a passion for the industry.

The preferred candidate will be used to working independently but liaising with management, on the requirements they are looking for.

Candidates must already be working in the marine industry already, with a naval architecture degree or equivalent behind them.

Candidate Requirements 

•    Have experience of working on 3D and 2D CAD systems
•    Must have an understanding of structural requirements and regulations for the industry.
•    Must be able to self motivate and be enthusiastic when working on projects.
•    Have strong verbal and written communication skills
•    Willing to work in a small company which is looking to expand and increase production

Salary

£DOE with plenty of overtime as well as being flexible on working hours
25 days holiday per year and 3 shut downs
