JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Client is a leading supplier of Composite structures and design to the marine industry both in the UK and abroad, and are seeking an experienced Composite Structural Engineer to join them

You will be responsible for producing high quality structural engineering, design work and also documentation. You will be required to specify products to customers’ requirements, whilst developing excellent engineer solutions. You will also spend time working in material testing to develop projects. Working as Part of an existing team, you will be a self-motivated, flexible and focussed individual keen to further yourself within the role.

To be successful for the role you must possess the following skills:

A degree or equivalent in Engineering, with a specialism in Mechanical/Structural Engineering or Naval Architecture
Understanding of Marine and Composite structures, as well as Finite Element Analysis
An excellent level of computer literacy, to include Excel and 2D Autocad. Further design related qualifications would be a plus.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a Multinational leader in their field, and to be involved in some very exciting projects within all aspects of the marine industry.

Remuneration will be by means of annual salary, plus a discretionary bonus based on both personal and company performance.

An excellent pension package is also available.
