JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a high end, successful and incredibly exciting Water Sports company set in two of the most beautiful and wealthy areas of the Middle East.

They provide elite Water Sports activities across four centres to the wealthy, 5* hotel tourist guests as well as local residents.

 

They have found the need for an energetic, driven and experienced Water Sports Professional keen to progress in the Industry as their Operations Manager, to take the reigns for the day to day management of the business’ operations.

 

The main responsibilities are to:

• Ensure the safe operation of all water activities, centre operations and inter-centre transfer of equipment,
• Include the development, implementation and documentation of operating procedures, risk assessments, codes of practice and policies to RYA standard.
• Action sales initiatives to vastly increase footfall.
• Recruitment and disciplinary responsibilities.
• To function at a Senior Management level with sole responsibility for management, operations, maintenance and repair of the company’s entire infrastructure, assets and equipment.

The correct person for this role will have:

• Good Operations experience with an International, multi-centre or multi-location Water Sports provider.
• Experience managing an RYA accredited centre with RYA instructional programmes to RYA regulations and safety.
• Experience running a centre in conjunction with hotels.
• Superior organisation, people management, communication, problem solving and time-keeping skills.
• A passion for Water Sports is a must and good knowledge of all Water Sports equipment is crucial.
