Job Specification JOB LOCATION JOB TITLE     China Dinghy Instructor/ Senior Instructor JOB REF SALARY SP/INST/OBS/TCH/OTH/136689 To be discussed, based on qualifications   JOB DESCRIPTION Beijing Sailing is a prestigious yacht club, and sailing training center that is rapidly expanding . We offer exceptional training in beautiful locations in China. The successful candidate will have a hands on approach whilst providing a professional and safe sailing environment. Clients are of all levels and abilities, - both adults and children. Candidates will be required to complete a CRB check if successful. All candidates should be hard working, reliable, and have knowledge of health and safety legislation. Main Responsibilities Running of formal and informal instruction through structured dinghy and windsurf courses. Run effective rescue boat cover. Running of weekly Races and Regattas. Carry out beach duties, including rigging and de-rigging of boats and launch and recovery of all boats maintaining safety of the guests and craft. Provide excellent customer service at all times. Follow all beach operating standards. Provide supervision for children when in your care. Carryout evening care duties when needed. Contribute fully to the overall running of the Centre. Carry out other duties within your ability as requested by your line manager. You will be required to be flexible in your job role and may be required to move between different centers according to operational needs. Person Specification Highly motivated individual. Competent swimmer. Knowledge of health & safety legislation.                         Ability to work as a reliable member of the team. Excellent customer service skills. Good communication skills- oral and written. Good with children. Suitable CRB check. We offer both short term (minimum of two months) and long term contracts over the summer and winter seasons. Candidates will need to possess the following qualifications as a minimum; RYA Dinghy Instructors qualification, Powerboat level 2, Valid First Aid certificate.
