| JOB DESCRIPTION |
This is a new role that has been created by re-assigning various staff responsibilities internally. The Fleet Manager's role involves managing and carrying out maintenance across the entire fleet of small craft (currently 5 sailing yachts, 1 motor yacht, 3 RIBs, 3 keelboats and 2 PWCs, with future growth). Of the fleet, the majority of the work surrounds the sailing and motor yachts. In addition to overseeing all maintenance the Fleet Manager will be actively involved in carrying out much of the maintenance and servicing
While the manager will not have a permanent team to assist him/her, he will be allocated Instructors and Interns with relevant experience to assist with all of the lower skilled jobs (such as polishing, anti fouling etc.) and he/she will out-source to regular contractors those jobs that are time consuming or outside his/her skill set.
Salary -
- £22,000 to £29,000 per annum

- Self employed, paid monthly
- Opportunity to work overtime
- Five day working week with occasional weekend work
- Normal hours are 0830 - 1700, however longer days may be required where urgent tasks are outstanding
- 28 days annual leave
- Two week compulsory leave period over Christmas
