JOB DESCRIPTION
Oman Sail is an exciting and diverse national programme established revive the maritime tradition of the country and brand the beautiful Sultanate as a top class tourist destination using the sport of sailing as a platform.
The growing Communications department is now looking for a PR Manager with extensive sailing industry knowledge to complement its team.
The ideal candidate will bring with them:
* A minimum of 5 years experience in the international yacht racing industry
* The ability to create and execute an international PR strategy which reinforces Oman Sail's key messages
* Journalistic flare and an eye for a story
* A proven track record of team management
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
* Experience managing a network of international contractors and agencies
The candidate will be expected to relocate to Oman for a minimum of 18 months.
