JOB DESCRIPTION
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
ISAF Specific:
To support the Training and Development Manager in administrating the day to day tasks of the department with particular emphasis placed on the Connect to Sailing Initiative.
Candidate Profile:
Required:
Obvious passion and enthusiasm for sport with preferable focus on sailing.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Self starter, independent, self motivated and able to work without direct supervision for extended periods of time.
High level of personal presentation, preparation and organisation.
Ability to create varied and engaging presentations in Powerpoint and other relevant programmes.
Ability to create basic databases and output reports using Excel and other relevant programmes.
Sound judgement and common sense in high pressure situations.
Knowledge of own limits with ability to ask for assistance.
Desired:
Experience in sales / customer service environment in the sports industry.
Maritime industry related event / programme logistics and organisation.
Practical experience of Sail Training Programmes (Instructor / Coach Qualification).
International travel experience for business purposes.
Ability to speak a foreign language (French / Spanish).
Other Responsibilities:
Any other relevant tasks assigned.

SALARY
This role will command a £20,000 starting salary with growth potential for promotional opportunities within the department.
