JOB DESCRIPTION
Candidates will need to demonstrate experience in the following areas:
Highly proficient in 2D and 3D CAD, Particularly Autocad & Solidworks
Systems and layout drawings and specifications.
Performing simple hand structural calculations to back up designs
Working to RCD,MCA rules as appropriate
Understanding new vessel systems and components, reviewing build specifications, developing equipment ordering lists
Capturing as-built information on the shop floor to maintain accurate technical drawings during the design development stage.
Project managing small individual design projects.
2-3 years minimum experience in a similar role.
Good knowledge of the marine industry, suppliers and equipment.
Some basic electrical knowledge would be advantageous.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
A passion for sailing would be beneficial!
SALARY
