JOB DESCRIPTION

This newly created role has become available to co-ordinate and manage all aspects of our online presence.

The successful applicant will be a motivated individual with a good knowledge of IT systems and confident in their abilities to learn and make the role their own in order to be responsible for the following:

.        Maintaining and promoting social media pages with regular updates of offers, articles and new products.
.        Maintaining the email marketing campaign database.
.        Organising promotional offers and publicising them through direct email marketing, social and other media.
.        Promoting the website through Search Engine Optimisation techniques, Google Adwords and Facebook advertising.
.        Assisting to maintain stock records through electronic stocktaking, which feeds through to the website.
.        Updating eBay and Amazon stores with appropriate products as required from time-to-time.
.        Building a relationship with, and co-ordinating courier companies to ensure the best deal and service for both our customers and us.
.        Processing online and telephone orders from receipt to dispatch to aftersales.

.        Liaising with local clubs and marinas to publicise the website, deals and to organise suitable advertising and promotional events.
.        Assisting as required in the shop, by serving customers and general shop work.

Our website and online presence is small at the moment, and it will be the focus of the successful applicant to significantly grow that side of the business, including uploading the many products to the website.
