JOB DESCRIPTION

The role responsibilities include:
To maintain and grow the level of membership in the region to an annually agreed target
To visit an agreed annual target number of member and non member companies and directly address any issues raised and nurture relationships
To manage all aspects of 3 associations (administration / marketing / finance / meetings and events)
To seek and build regional partnerships that will benefit the organisation and its members
To regularly visit and report back to the Surrey Office with feedback from the region and ensure that the Head Office is up to date
To plan and participate in various events, functions and other activities in the region working with their associations
To support the membership team to deliver activity, and be present at, the key Boat Shows including London and Southampton


You must have marine industry knowledge and excellent relationship building and customer service skills. Sales experience desirable. You must also be confident and personable and be able to work on your own initiative. You should be highly efficient and have the ability to plan your own time.  Self-motivation is also essential.

The role will be home based in the midlands and you will have an appropriate working environment at home.  Laptop and phone will be provided. The role will require a lot of travelling and travel costs will be covered.
