JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a world class manufacturer and supplier of propellers and stern gear for the Marine Industry, operating on a global scale.
They require an experienced sales person, with a proven, technical background, to join their established and successful team.

You will be required to liaise with customers regarding products and their specifications.  This will require some technical knowledge; therefore previous marine technical sales would prove advantageous.  You will assist the team in meeting and exceeding sales and budgetary targets.

You will be a team player, capable of working in a small team environment, with a flexible approach to work and colleagues.  You will have an exemplary phone manner coupled with a ‘can do’ attitude.  You will be confident in your own ability and able to discuss technical matters with individuals at varying levels of seniority.  There will be times when you’re required to represent the organisation at trade shows and client meetings abroad.

This would suit someone with an engineering background/understanding that wishes to progress within a sales environment.
