JOB DESCRIPTION

We're looking for a new team member to come and join us at Thornham Marina based in Emsworth.

Who we're looking for:
A bright, friendly, team player who enjoys a challenge.  Someone who is approachable and happy to help, but who's also quick thinking and adaptable for when things don't go to plan! Someone who is outgoing and loves interacting with people.  Someone who has a happy attitude towards work and who is willing to get stuck in, even on rainy days.

Skills we're looking for:
Ideally, boatyard machinery experience, however we will give you all the training you need.  Some knowledge of boats would be helpful too. The role will include basic machinery maintenance, some grounds maintenance, lots of lifting, pressure washing and launching boats.  We're big on customer service here so a can-do attitude and a big smile is a must.

A bit more about you:
Our ideal candidate would be smartly dressed and well presented.  Someone who is willing to work Tuesday to Saturday every week, with Sunday and Monday as days off, with occasional Sunday and Monday working days during busy periods.  This job involves physical activity, i.e. getting on and off boats, up and down ladders, moving of blocks and shores etc, and is based outside in all weather.
