We're looking for a new team member to come and join us at our Portsmouth marine site on a permanent basis.  Our company is relatively young, but growing fast, and we need to find our perfect new addition.could this be you?

Who we're looking for:
A bright, friendly, team player who enjoys a challenge.  Someone who is approachable and happy to help, but who's also quick thinking and adaptable for when things don't go to plan! Someone who is outgoing and who loves interacting with people.  Someone who has a happy attitude towards work and who is willing to get stuck in, even on the rainy days!

Skills we're looking for:
Someone who has experience of driving different types of machinery and can demonstrate the ability to lightly maintain equipment (no formal mechanical qualifications required). Forklift truck driving experience would be highly desirable, but not essential as we will give you all the training you need.  Some knowledge of boats is required.  Customer service is paramount to us so a can-do attitude and a big smile is a must.  The role will include a lot of work on the Drystack App, therefore we are looking for someone who has a basic understanding of computers. We are lucky, our working environment is the envy of many but keeping it this way takes a huge amount of effort so a keen eye for detail is a must.

A bit more about you:
Our ideal candidate would be well presented and take pride in their surroundings. A genuine passion for delivering first class customer service is a must; as is the ability to deal with people face to face and over the phone.  It will be a regular requirement to cover the manager's role in his absence. This will involve taking full responsibility for the day to day activities whilst also managing other staff members ensuring that all H&S requirements are adhered to. Weekend rotational working is a standard part of the role as we are a 7 day a week operation. This job involves some physical activity, i.e. getting on and off boats, up and down ladders etc. and is mainly based outside, in all weathers.
