JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is currently recruiting for a Head of Technical Services to lead the technical team in providing expertise and guidance on technical and manufacturing issues to support the UK industry.
You will require a detailed technical knowledge of the industry, manufacturing and legislative framework.

To fulfil the key aspects of the role, you will require a degree in a technical or engineering discipline supported by extensive relevant experience. Membership of a professional institution such as RINA, IMarEST etc. would be considered an advantage.  

The position will involve frequent direct contact with member companies, Government Agencies, national committees and International Working Groups, so a confident communicator with excellent presentational and negotiating skills is required.

Frequent UK and a degree of overseas travel should be expected.
