JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Client is an award winning Maritime Company that has found the need for an in house software engineer to design and develop their software in embedded Linux, IMX, BSP, Yocto, embedded C++, Git and OOP.

The role will require the candidate to design, develop, create and execute small sets of new functionality as a part of an industry leading team.

The Candidate may be required to be lead engineer on a number of small projects and participate in peer code reviews, as well as perform technical root analysis.

The successful candidate MUST be educated in Linux Kernal Device Drivers, Embedded Linux-Freescale IMX, Linux BSP Buildroot, Yocto, Embedded C++, Git and OOP and have 2 years recent and relevant programming and Linux experience.

One must be very organised, an excellent problem solver and be confident in achieving work to deadlines.

Salary

£30,000+ pa
