JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client provides an elite servicing operation to the Superyacht and Leisure Marine sector in and around Indonesia. Our client has found the need for a very experienced Service Manager to oversee and run the Service department located in Indonesia.
Reporting to Head Service Manager, the main responsibilities of this individual is to provide first class warranty, commissioning and maintenance services, as well as manage the department to keep technical service records, manage the in house engineers as well as sub-contractors and perform final checks and sign off on all the work completed.
The role will also require the Service Manager to handle the required paperwork, arrange logistics, keep all records organised and accessible, submit and chase up warranty/insurance claims, calculate cost estimates and be very communicative between other departments in the company and in liaising with important external connections.
The right candidate will have an extensive technical knowledge and engineering/boat building background at a senior level and experienced in managing teams from a multitude of cultural backgrounds.
Being professional, presentable, organised, a people person and confident is absolutely crucial in this role. The successful candidate will be just as happy and efficient down in the engine room as they are in the office directing their teams.
Salary
£50,000- £60,000 pa
