| JOB DESCRIPTION |
A busy fishing business in the South West are experiencing a busy period, and as such require an ARC/Pipe Welder to join them on a temporary contract, with the potential of an extension.
You will be working to either repair the existing fleet of 10 fishing vessels, or alternatively fabricating new fishing gear or brightwork for the vessels. As such an understanding or experience working within the marine sector would be a huge advantage
You will work predominantly with 6mm steel, although there will be the odd requirement to work with light or stainless materials. There will also be some pipe welding required from time to time.
On offer is a competitive salary with a great employer, and the potential for a long term or permanent position if quality of work is excellent.
