| JOB DESCRIPTION |
Award winning composite boat building facility in Hamble, Southampton requires an experienced stores person. Our client base is predominantly the Super Yacht industry, so the highest standards are expected.
The successful candidate will be able to work under their own initiative and run systems in a logical and organised way. They will possess strong interpersonal skills, be friendly and helpful and committed in supporting our business to ensure our products are received, quality checked on receipt, checked in and out to the boat teams, enabling the smooth running of the stores department and subsequently the building of our tenders.
Working closely with the Purchasing Co-ordinator and a new bar code computer system that we will be installing, it will be your responsibility to know the whereabouts of goods, materials and tools.
Experience in a similar role within the marine environment would be advantageous as well as a fork lift licence.
The successful candidate a good working knowledge of computers, though full training will be given on our internal system.
