Marine Resources have partnered with a US brand to supply highly skilled individuals from the boatbuilding sector to a number of large yacht and Superyacht yards in the United States.
We are currently seeking applications from experienced shipwrights used to working with high end sail and motor yachts, carrying out a varied range of tasks including engineering and fitout. You will need to have undergone formal training, ideally City & Guilds or equivalent, and be able to demonstrate a high standard of work.
On offer is an excellent package that will include return flights to the States (you will need to arrange your own travel to London Heathrow), your Visa application, an accommodation allowance and also a daily food allowance. On top of this you will be paid a wage similar to the market rate in the UK.
In order to be considered you will need to hold a UK/EU passport, be available from October 2015 for up to 6 months at any one time, and be able to supply all documentation required for Visa application. The overall application process will likely take 6-8 weeks so please bear this in mind when applying.
