Oceanair Marine Ltd is looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage allocated super yacht or residential/commercial projects. Drive the order conversion of allocated projects with a pro-active technical back up of the business.  
The Key remit is: Order conversion, Customer satisfaction professional cost management & running of the project to the relevant contractual terms.  
 
DO YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING
 
  • Proven experience in delivering multiple large multi-faceted projects to deadlines, creating and maintaining delivery plans, roadmaps and coordinating activities and dependency across multiple teams internally and externally.  
  • Excellent attention to detail, proactive, conscientious attitude, and a willingness to tackle any tasks at any level.
  • A proven ability to troubleshoot and problem solve complex challenges and projects dependencies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • An ability to deliver effective communication plans and present complex/emotive changes at all levels, in writing and face to face
  • An understanding and experience of managing expenditure to contracted deliverables, budget with efficient upwards reporting

From developing the first unique hatch solution “ SKYSCREEN “ the company has created a comprehensive range of over 30 products to complement the ever increasing range of hatches, shaped windows, sunroofs, and portlights.
 
With a 180 strong work force, Oceanair now supplies blinds to most of the world's leading boat builders.
 
Main responsibilities for the role:
  • Pre Order
  • Give technical & quotation support to both the Sales Manager and directly to the customer of allocated projects, support the sales activity to enhance the likelihood of winning the project.
  • Working closely with the Sales and Technical teams, ensure the products offered are within the scope and ability of Oceanair and offered within a timeline achievable within a managed project.
 
Project Management  
  • Post Order
  • Take project ownership of allocated projects, coordinating the required aspects to deliver to the project, on time, on budget, in full.
  • Make site visits as required to maintain the professional management of the projects.
  • Maintain a detailed time plan of allocated projects, advising details into the master forecast for Oceanair.
  • Develop a team philosophy, working with the relevant Sales, Production & Technical Teams to deliver the project in line with the project contract.
  • Via regular project review meetings, work closely with Oceanair Technical and Production teams to plan and co-ordinate each project through the Oceanair system. 
  • Undertake specific site management to maintain the contractual position of the project at the point of delivery and installation if required.
  • Maintain a project file of all key communications.
  • Target a high customer satisfaction for the complete turnkey delivery of the allocated projects.
  • Maintain a detailed cost and reconciliation of all projects to make sure they are meeting the targeted profit. Project in excess of £50k will require a final report to the Board of Directors.
  • Manage all aspects of the survey and installation service, targeting a 15% gross margin on this section of the projects.
