Dubai Offshore Sailing Club is recruiting a Chief Instructor for their established RYA Yacht Cruising Scheme.
The successful candidate will report to the Principal and will be responsible for to maintain the high standards and smooth running of the scheme and the maintenance of the club training yacht.Dubai is an amazing place to live and work. There is a large expat community that centers around the club and there is a large racing scene as well. This is an excellent opportunity to sail somewhere you may have never experienced before while doing the job you love.
Description: Your responsibilities will include,but are not limited to the following:
- The running and scheduling of the RYA Cruising Scheme courses from Start
- Yachting through to Yachtmaster Prep.
- Maintenance and upkeep of the club's training yacht.
- Managing other instructor standards and training and RYA Compliance
- Running the scheme on budget
Requirements: A valid, Commercially Endorsed RYA Yachtmaster Instructor certificate. Ideal additional instructor qualifications would include RYA SRC instructor, Radar Instructor, First Aid Instructor, Diesel Engine Maintenance Instructor, Powerboat Instructor
You must be hard-working, self-sufficient and organised as you will be an ambassador for the club's sailing department.
