Marine Resources have been instructed by a valued client to staff a new build project in Southern Europe, due to start in Late April/Early May.
With an illustrious background in Superyacht services and a number of key projects completed to international acclaim, the client has again been instructed by the vessels' new owner to manage their next build, anticipated to take 36 months or more and the finished craft to exceed 100m in length.
With a team to be based between their main offices and the chosen shipyard, a number of key placements need to be made in advance of the build of the project being started.
Of the multiple instructions given, one of the key Management Support roles within this build is the Assistant Project Manager. Acting on behalf of our client and working to support the Project Manager, you will be key in ensuring that the project runs smoothly, to standard and on time by offering a technical and administative support function to the clients team
To be considered for this hugely important role, you'll need to possess the following criteria:
– Experience in a Project Management Support role or similarly senior technical role on either Superyacht, Cruise of Commercial craft builds of 100m or above
– A clear understanding of the Southern European shipyard market and how to work with the associated workforces
– An education in a technical discipline such as Naval Architect, Mechanical Engineering or Naval Studies.
– The ability to process multiple information streams effectively.
