Seago Yachting specialises in Marine safety products and is the UK distributor for Liros ropes. A working knowledge of the marine industry is essential and a current knowledge of the rope industry would be preferable in the marine, arborist, commercial and industrial areas.
Sales Executive Duties:
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organising daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
- Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis.
The Role
Seago already has a well-established sales team in place, but the board of directors is looking to expand and develop this area of the business. The company now requires a talented sales professional to join the team to maximise the opportunities across a number of industry sectors with both B2B and B2C customers of varying size accounts.
The Candidate
Seago Yachting is looking to employ an ambitious, flexible, loyal and financially motivated sales professional who has an existing knowledge of the marine industry. Candidates must be prepared to chase leads proactively no matter how small and think outside the box in order to maximise sales revenue.
A good technical understanding and experience of selling marine and rope related products would be beneficial. As is an understanding of the sales process between product manufacture to end user through distribution channels. Some foreign language skills would be an advantage, but not essential.
The Detail
The successful candidate will be expected to work both remotely and at the Company's Head Office, which is based near Brighton in East Sussex and will involve both UK and European travel.
Salary
Competitive salary dependent on experience. Pension, company car and bonus will also be provided.
