Yacht Getaways offers skippered sailing yacht charter across the Mediterranean, with both tailored private charter and cabin bookings for couples and small groups. We have a passion for sailing and delivering the highest standard sailing holidays our guests could imagine. To meet our company aim we are looking for professional skipper and yacht host teams with the same enthusiasm and drive.
About the role:
Your main duties will center around sailing and client interaction. Working hours will vary and you must be flexible to cover operational requirements. In this exciting role you will be responsible for and undertake the following:
- Ensuring the safety of guests throughout the week
- Maintain the general upkeep and cleanliness of the yacht at all times
- Ensure superior levels of service and client care are maintained at all times
- Preparation of cooked breakfast and lunch every day and 2 evenings of hosted canapes
- Interact and socialise with guests, teach guests basic sailing skills if they so wish
- Follow the instructions of the Skipper Manager at all times
- Any other duties directed by the Skipper Manager
Requirements:
- RYA Offshore Yacht Master Practical Certificate
- Ability to work under pressure and make difficult decisions
- Experience in a customer focused environment, with a sociable and positive personality requirements
- Previous hospitality and food preparation experience and hold the FSA level 2 certificate or equivalent.

- Professional approach to working within the marine industry
- Strong organisational skills
- Eligibility to work in the EU with a valid passport for the duration
It is desirable that you will also have the following:
- 2 years experience of charter or corporate sailing
- Experience petty cash accounting and budgetary control
- RYA Powerboat Level 2
- RYA Diesel Engine Maintenance
