JOB DESCRIPTION

To support the Yachting Chief Instructor with effective management of the Yachting Department ensuring leadership and performance management of the Yachting Instructional team and to oversee day to day operation of department.

The successful candidate will:

Be qualified to a minimum of RYA Ocean Yachtmaster Instructor
Carry out an operationally focused role alongside the Yachting Chief Instructor
Manage day to day direction of all instructional staff, including performance reviews and a sustained program of 'personal training development'
Be responsible for ensuring the UKSA fleet is maintained to industry standards
Have solid experience in people management within a relevant sector
Work alongside course managers to effectively develop course content
Teach yachting courses as required
Have a strong focus on customer service
Be a 'self-starter', highly organised and able to work at all levels within the organisation

Full-time permanent position
40 hours over a 5 day week includes weekends with flexibility for open days
Salary upon application
