JOB DESCRIPTION

Experienced in running high level sailing events and championships
Maintain allocated event budget within which Event can meet its objectives and consider savings in different areas where possible
Professionally project manage and deliver the first sailing championship that Oman Sail will host (Laser Worlds Championships 2013)
Assist the events department with different projects and events through out the year
Work cross-functional with the different project managers within the department
Ensure the commercial partnership strategy and Marcomms strategy is maintained during the events
Coordinate the technical and sporting elements of the Event
Formulate accurate, detailed reports of delivery against objectives and spend against budget working closely with the Events Manager
