Sailing Instructor required to work at Lagos Yacht Club, Lagos, Nigeria for a period of 6-12 months.

The Yacht Club is a very active club with a large fleet of Hobie 16's, Lightnings, Lasers and GP14's and has been in operation for over 80 years. Lagos benefits from an Ideal sailing climate with warm waters and good wind. The sailing takes place all year round, both inland in the large local harbour, on rivers and offshore.

The club is looking for either a single or pair of adventurous, self motivated & energetic sailing instructors who are looking for a challenge - they should be RYA qualified with previous experience of teaching. 

The role will be to set up and run training courses for beginner members (both local and expatriate) and local school children as well as to provide group teaching and individual tuition to intermediate members. It will also involve the training and operation of safety ribs and active participation in all boating aspects of the club from helping to run regattas to support with the repairs and maintenance of club boats.

Accommodation and transport will be provided as well as return flights from the UK or equivalent. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
