JOB DESCRIPTION
PROFILE

An experienced, dynamic sales manager. The role will require customer facing time, primarily an Account Management role, maximizing the sales opportunities with the highest level of customer care at our client’s largest customers.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Manage all business and its growth with OEMs and distributors in the UK market.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

OEM Account Management

Take ‘sales ownership’ of all allocated OEM accounts, coordinating all aspects of the selling process.
Conduct regular visits and maintain a high level of contact with all key accounts.
Work with Sales Director to develop a sales strategy for each account.
Present monthly forecast updates including sales forecast, opportunities and risks/challenges,
Work closely with your Account support team to maintain the highest service level to the Account.
Assess all business opportunities and promote the solutions to maximise sales growth.
Promote all new products (when applicable) to allocated accounts.
Maintain a database of all new boat projects

Distributor

Manage the UK Distributor in line with the Distribution Management method to maximize the sector coverage (i.e. OEM, retail, super yacht and re-fit sectors).
Conduct regular visits (and join yard trips), carrying out sales training of the distributor staff.
Maintain a business plan and forecast with the Distributor.
Continually assess their performance and, if required, coordinate the change to an improved routes-to-market following a thorough strategic review.
Working with the Marketing Manager, maximise the marketing effort of the Distributor.
