JOB DESCRIPTION
A distributor of luxury brand leisure yachts, based in Egypt, requires an experienced Aftersales Manager to join their established dealership on a permanent basis.
Job Responsibilities
- Ultimate safety for engine room operations
- Maintain the yachts entire engineering and electrical operations
- Ability to manage and supervise engine repairs and overhauls
- Manage and train other deckhands, technicians and skippers
- Engineering inventory
- Planned maintenance schedule for all major systems
- Crew hiring and dismissal
- Personnel management
- Skipping and Navigation
Job Skills Required
- Expert technical / trouble shooting experience
- Advanced knowledge of all systems on board engines, generators, fuel polishing, water makers, electrical, refrigeration, air conditioning, computers, hydraulics, sanitation
- Excellent planning for preventative maintenance
- Ability to prioritize and organize
- Multitasking
- Ability to delegate and train
- Accounting
- Knowledge of contractors in UK.
- Established Professional 5+yrs
- Calm and charismatic personality
- Superior leadership, communication, management and diplomacy skills
- Excellent boat handling and navigational skills up to 100ft
- Languages are a plus
- Hard work ethic
- Positive attitude
- Teamwork and multitasking
- Ability to learn on the job
- Ability to take direction
- Cleanliness and maintenance in the engine room
- Increasing knowledge of all systems on board
- Ready to help in any area of the yacht when needed
- Supervise on cleanliness of the yachts, i.e. wash downs, stainless polishing, waxing
