JOB DESCRIPTION
Yacht Engineer with experience of operating boatyard machinery required on the River Hamble.
Engineering Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Be very experienced with yacht engines, transmissions, controls and stern gear.
- Be able to complete good quality work alone without supervision.
- Work with a small team of other engineers on larger projects.
- Work in the surrounding area from a Company supplied van as required.
Boat Yard Operations Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Have experience of boat lifting and preferably able to operate boat yard machines (Dock crane, forklift and boat movers) - machine specific training will be given.
- Work with a small team of experienced boat yard operators.
- Maintain boat yard machinery and equipment
- Assist in boat yard maintenance
Further Requirements:
- Driving licence
- 10 years of industry experience.
