| JOB DESCRIPTION |
MDL Hamble Marinas currently have a vacancies for boat movement operators working in the boat yard and dry stack facilities on the Hamble River. This position is full time.
The successful applicant will be required to work a rota system which will include weekend and bank holidays working. Although this position is focused at the boat yards, you will be working as part of the wider operation and will be required to be flexible and cross trained in your role.
The essential requirements for this role are:
- Able to swim
- A practical knowledge of boats and boating
- Have good communication skills
- Self motivated with a proven ability to work without supervision
- The ability to provide a high standard of customer service and care
- A practicable, resourceful and common sense approach
- Enthusiastic and friendly with a positive attitude
- Ability to carry out general maintenance tasks
Advantageous:
- Experience of operating machinery
- Basic computer literacy .
