Golden Arrow Marine is a multi-franchised marine engineering company representing industry leading brands such as MAN, Volvo Penta, Perkins, ZF and Kohler.
Based at our Southampton Branch this position is an exciting opportunity to join the team in our parts department. This is a busy position receiving customer enquiries by phone, over the counter and email. This role covers all aspects of parts sales from taking the initial enquiry, identification of correct part, picking parts, ordering from supplier through to final invoice and dispatch.
The emphasis is on the sale of spare parts whilst consistently being able to meet deadlines and deliver the highest level of service under pressure. Product knowledge of Perkins, Sabre, MAN, ZF & Volvo would be an advantage.
Stores management, stock taking, packing and dispatch are also key elements of this role. Counter balance fork lift operators license would be an advantage.
Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly along with good telephone manner and attention to detail is essential.
