| JOB DESCRIPTION |
Our client is the exclusive dealer for many of the world’s leading yacht brands, providing an unrivalled level of aftersales service and maintenance across the Asia-Pacific region.
They require an experienced Commissioning Manager, trade certified with a marine background ideally Electrical.
You must have experience with hands on diagnostics and problem resolution with a comprehensive understanding of pleasure craft systems:
- Electrical
- Mechanical (ancillary systems)
- Air conditioning
- Hydraulic
- You will be proactive and positive – they deal with problems on a day to day basis and the successful applicant will need to find answers to resolve these problems.
- You will be well-mannered and a team player – interaction with clients, crews, brokers and fellow service staff is a part of this job.
- You will work through administrators to manage a team of technicians and contract labourers.
- Efficient office / IT skills – emailing, supplier online portal interaction and general MS Office skills are required.
- Practical onboard knowledge and skills – be able to move through a boat, trace systems, check items hands on (not delegating to others) to obtain the information required.
Due to the nature of this vacancy, it will be highly beneficial if you have experience in Asia and youmust have a valid EU Passport.
Salary
£55,000 - £60,000 per annum
