| JOB DESCRIPTION |
A busy Commercial Shipbuilder in the South West require an experienced Engineering Manager to ensure smooth running of the range of projects undertaken at their Cornwall site.
Your main aims will be to ensure surveys and major rebuild work are planned and carried out within time and budget constraints. With this being a management role you will also be responsible for ensuring staffing is run efficiently, and that correct documentation and policies are adhered to, both in terms of the build projects, and also in terms of your workforce. Your team will consist of 18-20 individuals working at shop floor level.
The ideal individual will possess a strong marine engineering background, experience of working with MCA surveying, and also knowledge of the fishing/commercial sectors. Previous roles within a project management role would also be beneficial.
