The role of Harbour Master will mean you are team leader of all aspects of the fully fledged port including, pilotage, towage, engineering and business management. As Harbour Master you will be collectively responsible for decision making and support in determining overall strategic objectives and priorities in relation to Ports and Harbours within the organisation. As a prospective candidate you must have a background as a master mariner, experience as a Harbour Master, or deputy Harbour Master in a large port where it’s been paramount that you focused on safety first.
