You will need to be a skilled carpenter or joiner, capable of working in a small team to exacting standards. Employees will usually be involved in the build of a yacht from start to finish and be responsible for a specific area of that yacht.
 
A knowledge of boatbuilding is useful but not essential. We are looking for potential employees with a good set of skills that we can hone into the methods that we use to build our yachts.

Over the last few years Universal Marina has continued to grow, with the addition of another dry stack the marina is busier than ever. We are looking for an additional member of staff to join our energetic team to help us ensure that Universal keeps its reputation for being the best kept marina on the Hamble. 
The role is extremely dynamic and incorporates many different aspects of the day to day running of the marina such as daily marina checks, assisting bertholders and tenants, general site and building maintenance, site redevelopment projects and upholding site cleanliness.
 
You will also be required to assist with our increasingly popular dry stacking facility by providing banksman duties and driving the dry stack forklift for which we will provide full training. A large part of this role is outdoor based in year round conditions. There is also some office-based work including booking in & taking payment for visitor berthing. 
 
The applicant should have experience in maintenance and a keen eye for detail, be able to work as part of a team but also have the initiative & motivation to complete tasks on their own. As the role is so varied the successful applicant should be adaptable to new tasks & resourceful in finding solutions to different issues. A knowledge of the marine industry would be an advantage but not essential. Must be computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft packages.

The role will require working some weekends on a rota basis.

Have you build a career within the world of electronics fit and test in the marine industry and seeking a new challenge?
The team at Sunseeker International are currently experienced a period of sustained growth and as a result seek a skilled Electronics Engineer to join their team. 
With a range of powercraft from 40-155ft in length, systems can be as basic as a single screen nav unit through to a multi room system integrated into a boat-wide stereo setup that crosses different brands and operating systems. 
You'll join each build as it nears final fit and sea trials, carrying out final checks on installation. From here you'll ensure all electronics products are set up at the dockside and then tweaked at sea, to ensure optimum working performance and adherence to manufacturers guidelines. 
There will be a fair amount of fault-finding during these stages aswell, be it fitment adjustments or setup queries. Either way, you'll need to be able to work from a position of knowledge and understanding to rectify these issues before being able to happily sign off each product ready for the end customer to take delivery. 
You'll have gained experience with the likes of Furuno, Raymarine and Garmin, ideally with some brand specific training alongside your professional experience.

Salary:
£35,938.24 to be paid weekly plus numerous other benefits

Sunseeker International are one of the biggest names in the marine industry, building a range of luxury motoryachts from their Dorset-based shipyards. They represent a huge employer within the UK boatbuilding sector and are continuing to grow in the face of a difficult international market. 
Due to an existing member of the team taking maternity leave, a 6 month Fixed Contract has been issued in order to fill the gap left in the team. 
Working in Sunseeker HR is a hugely diverse job that works across an employee base of close to 2000 individuals at 5 different sites on the South Coast. This particular role will be focusing on the employee relations arm of HR, working across the business with both employees and managers in order to manage performance levels and oversee disciplinary action and performance review.  You'll be able to work closely with all involved in order to ensure that correct process is followed at all times. 
The ideal applicant for this role will come from a background working with a large volume hourly paid workforce, understanding employee relations case work, including working with disciplinaries and tribunals. You'll have gained this experience ideally in a manufacturing employer within marine/automotive/aerospace and be CIPD part qualified. 
There will also be a strong element of travel involved, so a clean license and your own transport are key. 
Salary:
£33,000.p.a

We are agents for New Jeanneau yachts and power boats and we sell all types of second hand craft from our successful brokerage.
You will be a self-motivated individual with a good knowledge of boats and great administrative skills.
Previous experience of selling boats is not a pre-requisite however experience in selling and the right attitude and approach to excellent customer service is a must.
This is a full time position and weekend working is a must for this role as well as a full UK driving license. 
 
Salary:
An excellent remuneration package consisting of basic and uncapped commission is available to the right person.
