ACCOUNT SUPPORT – SOUTH, UK

JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose of Position
To deliver the goals of our client’s sales plan, support the sales managers in providing high quality office based sales support to our distributor, OEM, super yacht & special project customers.

• Understanding of all our client’s internal processes and product
• Constant checking of the available documentation

Duties and Responsibilities
1.    Sales Support

• Attending Customer sites with the ability to up sell products and rectify any issues at the account
• Answer enquiries both internally and externally:
• Deal with enquiries & quoting to customers.
• Manage all day-to-day sales matters for your list of allocated accounts, taking ownership of their needs
• Create and manage deadlines for enquiries where appropriate
• Provide direct support for Sales & Marketing Director and the Sales Managers as required.
• Work closely with the account manager of our largest UK OEM, supporting their needs in all aspects of managing this account.
• Coordinate sales information – including maintenance of
• Customer database to ensure all sales enquiries are entered and customer details updated as necessary
• Pricing guidelines
• Sales Handbook

Distributors

• Develop relationships with designated distributors by regular, two-way communication.
• Provide distributors with support at shows.

Order Processing

• Support the order processing onto the ERP system.

Boatshow Support

• Represent our client on their boatshow stand, advising attendees of the benefits of the product range.

General

• Assist the Marketing team in actioning the marketing strategy.
• Undertake other tasks as may be required from time to time by the Directors
