TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER – SOUTH, UK

JOB DESCRIPTION

Technical Sales Manager

Purpose of Position
Take the sales lead in the continued promotion of our client’s products within the luxury end of the UK residential, hotel and commercial market.
Develop a technical sales approach to managing their business and its growth in these sectors to exceed the sales forecast set.
Develop the current route to market via Property Developers, Interior Designers, Architects and AV Integrators.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Business Development
  • Manage the launch of our client’s product range to relevant Property Developers, Interior Designers and Dealers as a trade supply range.
  • Via innovative selling, look to exceed both sales and profit targets.
  • ‘Own’ the monthly target measures and report on company’s sales performance on a monthly basis with a quarterly forecast report.
  • Identify and target specific development projects, maximizing sales growth for the company.
  • Prepare detailed technical quotations and presentations for identified projects.
  • Maintain a database of all projects.
2. Account & Project Management
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the business including a support team.
  • Work closely with the in-house project management team to maintain a high quality delivery service, meeting the technical and quality expectations of the client.
  • Project manage specific Residential and Commercial projects as allocated.
  • Manage the contractual and relevant payment terms for each project.
