Our client, an international accredited charitable trust, are looking for a Head of Ship Operations to join their team to ensure that the small fleet of Ships are operated safely and run to optimum efficiency.
To be successful as the Head of Ship Operations you will be passionate about providing positive life-changing experiences and be a true ambassador for inclusiveness and diversity. This will be a demanding role and will require a combination of strong technical expertise and experience and great leadership and management skills.
Essential Criteria to be considered for the position of Head of Ship Operations include:
- Certificate of Competency at Class 1 or 2 (Unlimited) preferable as Chief Engineer
- A proven marine engineering / technical background with experience in a senior rank
- Able to demonstrate shore based experience in a Vessel Management position
