A rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Marine Engineer to join the Warranty Field Service Team  at Sunseeker International. 
This position would be suitable for competent Marine Engineer, Superyacht Chief Engineer or an Approved Distributor/Dealer Engineer familiar with engine propulsion systems and various other equipment installed on luxury recreational vessels 40-155ft.
The main aim of the role is to undertake warranty diagnosis and repairs for the vessels in the field as well as providing technical support to the department. Feedback of issues found is also a key part of this role in order to help enhance our products, improve customer satisfaction and reduce warranty spend. The position demands a highly self-motivated and flexible person, possessing proven marine based engineering skills, a broad knowledge of luxury motor yachts and sound understanding of more general vessel systems. 
To be considered for this role you should;
• Be a Marine Engineering Technician, with a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline or, equivalent experience, demonstrating both theoretical and practical experience in fault finding, installation and maintenance of a wide range of mechanical systems across vessels 40-155ft.
• Have experience with all aspects of mechanical installations including engines and generators, air-conditioning, hydraulics/fluid power, fuel and water systems.
• Understand and appreciate the importance of engineering related health & safety, adherence to safe operating procedures and internal quality build processes.
• Have strong I.T literacy skills to produce feedback reports, timesheets and expenses management which is self-managed, thus strong written and communication skills are essential.
• Field work requires the ability and willingness to support projects which may not be engineering based so the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a broad knowledge and practical experience of multiple trades. 
In addition you will:
• Be highly motivated and able to work autonomously or as part of a team.
• Possess and maintain a Full UK Driving License.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
• Have a high degree of flexibility to working patterns to be able to perform in this rapidly changing and challenging role.
• Be prepared to work predominantly overseas and at short notice.
• Possess professionalism, excellent communication and people skills, as well as being able to liaise with all levels both internally and externally including Distributors and Customers of multi million pound vessels.
• Provide a level of service commensurate with the prestige of luxury brands but with due regard to Warranty Terms, Distributor Agreements and commercial considerations.
