Following their recently launch, Fairline Yachts are seeking a Production Design Engineer to join their growing Design Office Team.
Fairline Yachts produce a range of high quality Powerboats, ranging from 38-78ft, with an emphasis on quality, customisation and looks. Leading from a recent partnership with Vripack, an international Engineering firm based in the Netherlands, and Alberto Mancini, a revered Yacht Designer, Fairline Yachts are seeking a talented production Design Engineer to take their concept designs and ensure that the finer workings of the design are suitable for production.
Whilst this is a marine brand, experience in this field is not necessarily essential. You will be working to ensure that the various designs submitted are full engineered. This could be anything from ensuring a set of sliding doors can correctly open and be hidden, through to ensuring that a hatch sits flush when opened. It is very much a problem solving role, but a very key one within the design and engineering process.
The role requires a methodical thinker, a problem solver, and someone keen to put in the time even if a solution is not easily achievable! You will be skilled with both Solidworks and Autocad.
