Sunseeker International are Britains largest boatbuilding. Employing in excess of 2000 staff based across a number of South Coast sites, the brand is experiencing excellent growth both in terms of sales and employment.
As a result we are pleased to be recruiting for an experienced Materials Planner to join the Procurement and Planning team.

You will pick up the process from Sales specification and continue through the planning process, ensuring that all specifications are converted to SAP format. Overseeing the release of materials to the shop floor, you will attend daily floor meetings to ensure that all KPIs are being met and that any concerns or queries are adressed.
Working alongside the Project Planner, you will be an organised individual, happy to challenge colleagues on materials queries or requests. Your aims will be to avoid surplus or shortage of materials at all times, and this will be gauged by a number of KPI targets.
As the ideal candidate, you will have ideally worked in a manufacturing surrounding within a medium to large enterprise. You must be literate with SAP systems, a multitasker and able to problem solve quickly. Furthermore an understanding of both boatbuilding and the assosciated drawings for production would be beneficial.
