An International Boatbuilder, based in the South West is seeking a Naval Architect to join their development department.

Building a range of luxury Composite craft from 40ft to in excess of 100ft, this brand is pushing the industry to new highs through development and evolution of existing and new models.
The Development department work hard to ensure that the brand is at the forefront of hull design, economy and performance through constant testing and re-designing of all areas of the vessel. 

A degree-qualified Naval Architect or Engineer, you will be working closely in ensuring all works are compliant (CE, RCD etc) and;

– Provide the correct documentation and reports required for the various departments

– Work to produce Sea Trial and Classification survey documentation in collaboration with a number of other departments to pass the various scrutinies.

– Production drawings for classification are submitted for review 

You'll be well educated with Maxsurf and Siemens NX, able to work to a high standard with little need for supervision. An excellent team player, you'll need to be able to think on your feet and be analytical in your approach to your work.
