A key contributor to the department’s engagement and subscription objectives, the Member Relations Manager is responsible for creating an enriching member experience with the client. As part of the Membership and Services department, the Member Relations Manager will lead the Membership team in the planning and delivery of a membership service and engagement strategy that retains existing members and recruits new members.
Major Duties and responsibilities:
- Generate subscription income of £1.4 million
- Monitor and improves customer service across the business
- Direct link with Group and Regional associations
- Direct line management of 5 staff
Reporting into the Membership and Services Director you will be able to demonstrate experience in:
- An understanding the requirements of the membership function within a membership
- Implementation of membership strategy and annual plan to deliver annual subscription income budget association and related marketing needs (essential)
- Oversee the annual subscription renewal and invoicing process in conjunction with accounts team
- High level sales & customer service experience (essential)
- Strong communication skills (essential)
- Confident manager (essential)
- An understanding of the UK Marine industry (desirable)
For the right person, our client is offering a very competitive salary between £40,000 to £45,000 per annum, plus benefits.
