We have an opportunity for an experienced sales, marketing and operational professional to join our senior management team, with a key focus on ensuring our training revenues drive sufficient surplus into the charity to underpin our future sustainability and investment.
UKSA is a youth charity that uses the power of the sea to transform the lives of thousands of young people each year, funded in part by being the world's largest provider of marine training, ranging from water sports instructor, through to training officers working on vessels up to 3,000 gross tonnes.
The Director of Operations will work as part of the senior management team, with a key focus on ensuring our training revenues drive sufficient surplus into the charity to underpin our future sustainability and investment.
Working with Heads of Department, the Director of Operations will lead and develop the operational and sales and marketing strategies for the charity, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and improved surplus. These strategies will ensure we deliver outstanding customer focus and experiences for all UKSA clients and that our operations run efficiently.
With a strong background in delivering sales and marketing and operational strategies to increase profit and efficiency, the successful candidate will also have proven experience in a strategic leadership role within a relevant industry sector.
