An exciting NEW graduate position for a Junior Sales Executive has arisen for a leading UK marine brand name specializing in sailing hardware. Based in their head office, you will be an integral part of an innovative and dynamic sales team. In return, you will be offered intensive training to become a market leading Sales Executive.

This role is focused on developing new business and is suited to candidates who are highly motivated and can generate successful results.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Working with, and reporting to the Internal Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing new business through pro-active account management and developing new sales opportunities in Marine markets, delivering fantastic customer service.
  • You will be responsible for your own lead generation, plus the conversion of new enquiries and quotations, working closely with the marketing department, and sales administration.
  • Updating the companies CRM system, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a sales pipeline, recording all sales activity.
  • Attend trade shows, internal or external training as provided or set out by the company for the development of the business or personal skills.
Experience:
  • General Marine Knowledge
  • Eager to learn
  • Computer literate
  • The ability to work to targets
  • Comfortable with proactive interaction with external & internal contacts
  • Punctual and well presented
  • Ambitious
  • Driven, with a positive can-do attitude
  • A passion in Sailing or Watersports is very desired.
