Are you a recent graduate with a degree in Yacht Design and Engineering, with a passion for the sailing world?
A South Coast Studio is currently seeking an individual with industrial placement or 12-24 months professional experience to join them at what is quite an exciting time in the brands history. With a previous project list that includes a number of high end projects, this company has some serious background!
3 projects are already in progress with a fourth on the verge of signing, so this is an immediate requirement that will require you to hit the ground running. Joining a small but powerful team, you will be expected to be involved in a number of areas of each design, including Hull and rig design, FEA analaysis and CFD models.
A strong interest in the sailing world is key for this position, as is a technical mind and analytical manner. You'll be working extensively with a number of software packages too, so adaptability and versatility will assist great.
This represents probably one of the best opportunities for a recent graduate of 2016, with the chance to grow with an already well-established brand in a traditionally tough market.
Salary:
A starting salary of c.£16-18,000.p.a with 6-monthly reviews, likely to increase to £25k+ within 2 years.
