Are you an experienced Quality Manager with a background in the marine industry, possessing Lean Management and Quality management skills?
A longstanding member of the South Coast marine industry is seeking a high skilled Quality Manager to join their team of marine experts. Manufacturing in-house and working on a range of craft across different markets, the brand is known for producing a high standard of work across international boundraries.
With an already expansive set of quality standards in place, adhering to BS11000 and ISO 9001, the company seeks an individual well versed with the continuous improvement of a manufacturing business, using Lean Principles such as Six Sigma to ensure that the business continues to streamline and become more effective.
Working across the brand you duties will include, but not be limited to:
– Co-ordination of company process and procedures to assist in improving efficiency
– Maintenance and evolution of the existing quality system
– Continued review of Quality department standards and achievements
– Working with Senior management using external customer feedback to continue evolving standards in line with real-time feedback
– Ensuring all external auditing processes are adhered to and standards met.
To be considered for this position, you will need to have gained a number of years experience working in a quality management role, using ISO and BS standards regularly within the business. An analytical and quick-thinking individual, you'll be able to provide solutions, improvements and updates on all areas of quality within a business that will lead to its continued success in terms of quality standards.
